Father John Kershaw
vicar of St Hilda's 1989-2020
May he rest in peace
and rise in glory
The churchwardens, church council and members of St Hilda's congregation would like to express heartfelt thanks to all those who have expressed kind thoughts and condolences following the sad loss of our dear friend and faithful priest, for over 30 years, Father John, who passed away after a long illness on 2nd November 2020.
From the churchwardens and church council:
We are dedicating our Christmas Tree this year to the memory of our much-loved friend and priest, Father John.
Many thanks to Vaughan and Lester of Denton who supplied us with a fine tree which we have decorated in traditional style as Father John would have liked.
We hope and pray you will have a peaceful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year
