raised £150 for Comic Relief

We organised a stall selling

Red Nose cakes and

biscuits, did good deeds at

home and donated our

weekly membership 'subs'

to the cause. St Hilda's

church council also agreed

to give a donation towards

the final total.

All sections of the group

celebrated with a Red Nose

the hilarious red jelly relay,

which had to be seen

Highlights of the past 12 months...

The past year has been as busy as ever for the 6th Denton (St Hilda's) group.

We celebrated St George's Day with our own Celebration Evening, including a display of maypole dancing by the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts... and a few

'willing volunteers' from the audience of parents & friends!

Our annual sponsored walk to Portland Basin is always a favourite - working up an appetite for the the delicious tea back at church, organised by Elizabeth, our Group Scout Leader.

Just before Christmas, we enjoyed another memorable evening of fun and laughter at the Guide Bridge Theatre pantomime.

A large contingent from our group also took part in the district bag packing event at Sainsbury's, collecting bucket-loads of donations from Christmas shoppers.
